600 Feet Crop Circle Art

  << Back to Gallery
At 600 feet long, this is the largest crop circle (or pictogram) ever found, thus its name. It was made in a wheat field in near Windmill Hill, Avebury, Wiltshire on July 17th, 2004.

Some researchers call this design a member of the "insectogram" family. A researcher we talked to reported that the energy was so intense in this pictogram that she couldn't walk from one end to the other without getting physically ill. Hang it over your fireplace and see if it starts a conversation or two!

Original crop circle photo by Janet Ossebaard
This is a picture of the original crop circle in the field. The "tram lines" where the farmer drives his equipment are 40' apart.
