Artist's Statement |

There are many people who have spent years researching the origin, purpose and meaning of crop circles. I'm not one of them. I'm just an artist and metal sculptor who started incorporating crop circle designs into my art projects about a year ago because they're incredibly beautiful! I figured nobody was going to come after me for copyright infringement.
Through experimentation with different methods and materials, I arrived at a process to produce extremely high precision, stand-alone metal reproductions of some of my favorite crop circle designs. My friends and customers started hanging them on their walls or planting them in the garden on poles. That's when I realized maybe I had the makings of a business here and developed this website.
I'm not making any promises about whether the designs I've chosen are made by a higher intelligence or lowly hoaxers. I do know that when I look at the perfect geometry and enigmatic designs, I get a little boost of inspiration. So I'm saying thanks to the Circlemakers, either for making the circles with mysterious columns of light or for sending down thought waves to Nigel and Ian who went out in the middle of the night with rope, logs, a few too many beers, and with a knowledge of Euclidian geometry and four dimensional calculus.
If you're the inquisitive sort, I highly recommend that you do your own research on the Circlemakers by checking out some of the sites on the Resources page, especially the two by Freddy Silva.
I will continue to add new crop circle designs. I'm limited in what I can make by the fact that each design has to be cut from a single piece of metal. There are many other designs I'd like to offer, but I'd have to invent a way for metal to float in space. I'm not there - yet.
Enjoy the site, and buy something nice for yourself!
